Under this program the basic education is provided to the poor community, which are illiterate, This program is being implemented within ROSHNI’s working areas with collaboration of PLC (Pakistan Literacy Commission) and community are provided basic education within a period of four year. The basic goal of ROSHNI is to provide a platform to the women to enable them to get independence through different programs.
ROSHNI started Non-Formal Middle schooling Programme is providing Middle level education to the poor community, which are willing to continue their study. This program is being implemented within ROSHNI’s working areas with collaboration of District Government.
Roshni established three formal schools in 1992, 1993 and in 1996. After fully establishment Roshni handed over to SMC for permanent basis. No in 2007 One other Formal setup start on the theme of “Quality Education Enhancement Programme” In this formal school major focus is on quality education at low cost.
Now Roshni has signed MoU with PEF-EVS. Roshni started 10 Evening schools in Multan, which are providing formal education to poor and labor student. Specially girls ages 06-16 are getting benefits from this project
ROSHNI started Adult Literacy Programme for youth and Adults of ages 14 –40. This programme started with the support of USAID. Time was flexible and covers the three stages of literacy. Basic Literacy, functional literacy and Post Literacy. ROSHNI designed her own syllabus for the 10 month duration.
ROSHNI`s pool of expert develop their own syllabus for Adult literacy and implemented it on different three areas. Communities appreciate it. For skill enhancement penal of experts wrote/ design the special book consisting on Sewing, Cooking, Beautician, Embroidery family heath care and different life skill for literate and illiterate women named “Taleem ka Sath Hunar Mand Hath” this book is also implemented on girls of different ages
Roshni developed and designed Life Skill Base education Curricula and also developed training modules for trainers. Traget Comminities for four types. 1.Youth Group. 2. Labor class, 3. Students 4. Illiterate skilled person. Roshni has implemented it in FATA with support of IRC & FATA Secretariat.
